After feeling creatively uninspired in the practice of law, I took the leap into entrepreneurship and started my own lifestyle photography studio. n an effort to help more business owners, I launched the Stock Gallery, a unique and high quality styled stock photography membership site for women in business.

Yes, 100%. Privacy policies are required by law to be on every website that collects information from its users. That includes if you use google analytics, a facebook pixel, emails, etc., the list goes on and on.
This requirement is in place to protect the consumer (you when you are on someone elses site!) and the governmental body that regulates this is the Federal Trade Commission. The FTC is not scared to enforce this privacy policy requirement and has done so for businesses both large and small.
So here is what you need to know about privacy policies…
There are also specific regulations and acts you must follow and include in your privacy policy, those include California’s Online Privacy Protection Act, GDPR, the Children’s Online Protection Rule, among others.
Although this seems like a lot and can be overwhelming, making sure to have a privacy policy in place on your site is imperative when it comes to building and protecting your business. And of course, if you need help with your privacy policy, I am here to help. Just click here to schedule a free 15 minute call!
